Meet Dr. Chang-Seo, our new assistant principal, started her career in education teaching eighth grade history in the 2000s, she then went on to teach at the high school level. She worked in the LAUSD school district for 17 years as a teacher, a dean and an intervention coordinator.
She moved her way over to the ABC district four years ago where she worked as an assistant principal at Whitney High School. She’s excited to be here, at Cerritos High School, and be part of the team. Her plan at Cerritos is to act as support for the counselors, and teachers.
Giving support to the staff that directly works with the students is the way, “that all students [will] feel like they are set up for success.” Dr. Chang-Seo also plans to make a student centered master schedule which includes student and parent voices in the process “it takes a lot of different perspectives to make a master schedule that serves all.”
But in the end, Dr. Andrea Chang-Seo wants to make memory’s here at Cerritos. If you are in need to get hold of Dr. Chang-Seo her email is [email protected]
“I enjoy the students, staff and parents, the new faces have been so friendly I’m very proud to be part of Cerritos, it’s a good place to be” – Dr. Andrea Chang-Seo
