The Cerritos Dons defeated The Gahr Gladiators 21-6 on Thursday at Artesia High School.

After nearly a scoreless first half, Gahr scored a touchdown with just minutes left, to go into halftime leading 6-0.

Cerritos went on to rally, scoring 21 unanswered points in the 4th quarter, including two rushing touchdowns by Junior Jake Bautista and one by Sophomore Dikshanta Adhikari.

Sophomore Nathaniel Crawford led the defense with nine tackles. Sophomore Ruben Castro had an interception.

The Dons are now 2-5 on the season as the head into league play this Thursday at 7PM against Artesia High School.

“I’m excited about the future. This really is going to turn the season around because it gives us all the momentum we need going into league,” Principal Walker said.
