Mr. Aboite is a Spanish I and Spanish III Heritage teacher at Cerritos High School. This is his first year at CHS and his second year teaching. Mr. Aboite used to teach at San Pedro High School. Aboite believes the most important and challenging thing about teaching is making sure the students understand the material. Before teaching, Mr. Aboite sold cellphones for T-Mobile for six years. Mr. Aboite grew up in Sinaolo de Leyva, Mexico and moved to Long Beach, California when he was 12. He attended Cal State Long Beach, and is currently working toward his masters degree. When he is not teaching, Mr. Aboite enjoys taking his kids to the park and beach, and he loves to connect his kids to his culture. He also enjoys eating In-N-Out and shopping at Costco.
