A competitive game of musical chairs to winter holiday songs happened in the quad during lunch during toy drive week hosted by ASB, the winner Johnathan Guerro, a student at Cerritos, won a free slushy. It was held on Thursday, Dec. 7, and was open to all students ready to enjoy some friendly competition.
The toy drive was held from Dec. 4-8, all week ASB held dress-up days and events to get students excited for the holidays and giving back to the community. Kayllah Acceves, the ASB junior class vice president said, “It’s so great that we can hold events that students can participate in with friends, it really shows our Don pride.”
After a competitive game of musical chairs in which about a dozen students participated, the final round was between students Samuel Calderon and Jonathan Guerrero. After a struggle, Jonathan took home the title of the winner of a free slushy from ASB.
