Following their weekly meeting, teachers gathered in the West Gym to take their yearly panoramic photograph. This tradition of an annual staff photograph began when Mr. Walker became principal nearly a decade ago.

   Counselors, as well as teachers from every department gathered on the gym bleachers. But it wasn’t just teachers and counselors, it was our cafeteria workers, coaches and SIAs. These are the people along with our students that keep Cerritos High School in the top 100 schools in California.

    While helping down fellow faculty from the gym bleachers, Mr. Walker explained that he began the tradition nine years ago as a fresh start to the year. However, this year the event was postponed due to construction in the gyms.

   Photographs are put up in the front office, and included in the school yearbook.
