The Dons came to the Quad during lunch to explore the Special Interest clubs that Cerritos had to offer. Interest clubs are some of the many clubs that you can join. Some of these clubs include Lighthouse, speech and debate, you and me, off the rack, advertisement/marketing, real estate investing, gardening, fable and fiction, paws for a cause, picture perfect, and Cerritos wellness.
Students visited tables and talked to officers of clubs like Fable and fiction and speech and debate. At the Real Estate club table, students were introduced to the world of flipping properties to make money. An officer of this club is Gaby Sayas. She is super excited to learn about real estate because it is very interesting to learn about flipping houses and many other properties.
Another one of these interesting clubs is a book club where they mainly focus on bringing back the popularity of reading for fun. Some of the very fun activities that you do in this literacy club is watching movies, volunteer work, and learning how to be a leader. The president of this group, Mia Donticcia, a senior, excitedly stated “I am looking forward to spreading literacy to the world.”
Make sure to check out the club tables in the quad this monday featuring academic based clubs. Support your fellow Dons!
