Club week came to an end in the quad on September 17, 2024, Cerritos High School’s clubs showed off their extracurricular ventures. Their goal is to show their fellow peers what amazing groups they can join to accelerate their learning and potential.
There’s something for everyone at Cerritos, including the math and science enthusiasts. Intrigued students visited the math club booth and enjoyed the display put on by HOSA (Future Health Professionals), with their lab coats and life sized skeleton replica. The club’s goal is to help educate and give volunteer opportunities to those interested in joining the medical field.
The Engineering Club was very welcoming. Especially their leader, Krish, feels that people should indulge in this hobby that will help them pursue in life. “My goal for my fellow engineers is to make them feel as though they understand what being an engineer is all about.”
The Business and Economics club’s goal is to help people learn more about the business world and be set for their future careers. This is led by their leader Samuel Nicky.
The National Chinese Honor Society was very open about how much they feel their club is important for Cerritos High School’s students so they can understand how the Chinese culture originated and continues to be passed on through generations.
The CSJ (California Scholarship Federation) goal is to help future or fellow seniors make their way to a scholarship. Their leader Diya’s goal is to make sure that they get exactly that.
The JHS (Japanese National Honor Society) club showed us how they wish to show their fellow peers how the Japanese Culture came to be. This club is run by Mia Donatucci.
