Freshmen Sydney Nguyen is a staff writer and is in her first year in journalism. She is excited to report on school events and student life. She enjoys writing because it allows her to share stories and inform others about important topics. Outside of class, Sydney likes listening to music, spending time with friends, and working on school assignments. She’s also on a hip hop dance team outside of school. She hopes to improve her writing skills and become a stronger reporter this year.

Jasmine is a ninth grader who is fascinated by forensic psychology, which stems from her exploring the complexities of the human, especially in relation to crime. She is excited to share stories that not only inform but also spark curiosity about our world and what’s happening within our school.

Pryanka Singh enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also likes playing volleyball and reading books. She aspires to attend NYU to pursue a career as a lawyer advocating for people’s rights.

Ninth grader, Valentina Valdez is new to journalism. She decided to join Journalism because it seemed like an interesting class. She also expanded her knowledge in the business and management department as co-Business Manager. Her hobbies are spending time with my family, swimming and listening to music.
