Nicholas Atayde is a freshmen at Cerritos High School. He joined journalism with the goal of enhancing his writing skills. He enjoys sports and is a student athlete.

Kamila Barillas is a first year journalism student. Prior to journalism, Kamila was involved in Carmenita’s school broadcast and yearbook committee as a director and a vice president. She enjoys films, music, concerts, and graphic design.

Freshman Allyson Bunla is a first year Journalist. She joined Journalism to improve her communication skills in hopes of connecting with the people around her. As a hobby, she makes videos on an editing software called Alight Motion by using visual effects and a wide variety of different genres of sound effects and music. In the future, she would like to become a web designer who creates layouts and creates ideas for websites.
